Accordion - Nicolo Salanti Accordion

I have a friend who has a Nicolo Salanti 4054 accordion. 1 owner, excellent condition. I must confess that I am not musically inclined so I can't even determine if it's even in tune, if that's the correct terminology. Anyways she was in a car accident and was paralyzed from the neck down. That is why she is not typing this, making any music, or much of anything. If I sound flippant I am not. I am at a complete loss over the entire situation. I can not find any general information much less a value. I am trying to sell things she can no longer use. I am just wondering if this is a good quality instrument and where I can get info, or if anyone is interested. Any help that could be given would be very appreciated.
