Description: Acoustic Guitar - Hippner 8-string, Cedar/E. Indian Rosewood
There are no pictures available for this acoustic guitar
I have been playing Hippners for 6 years, I currently own three. He's a first rate builder. I've had to sell two others for financial reasons. Unfortunately, for me, this one has to go also. Fortunately, for you. It's a great guitar at a very reasonable price.
Built in September 2009, Cedar/E. Indian Rosewood. Rodgers gears. Bracing based on a 1965 Jose Ramirez III. Cedro neck, ebony fretboard. Single sound port (Mueller style). Structurally sound, no cracks. Other than some very light nail scratches on soundboard - excellent condition.
I'm primarily a Spruce player but always have had at least one Cedar - the other two I have are Spruce.
Singing trebles with sparkle and very warm basses, a deep sound. Excellent playability and intonation. Exceptionally clear for Cedar, not muddy in the basses. Sounds as good playing Bach as Villa-Lobos (or Gershwin, or Bohemian Rhapsody).
Already set up with internal McIntyre transducer, if you want it, no extra charge.
I have done hundreds of 8-string guitar arrangements; I will include PDFs - you can choose what you want from a list - on a CD-R as part of the purchase.
Link below is to a YouTube video of this guitar (amplified, Acoustic Image amp; I can send an mp3 with very good audio of the unplugged sound).
Featherweight/Guardian case is included.
