Description: Acoustic Guitar - Exceptional 1905 Martin 0-21

The guitar is in excellent, mostly original condition (repro-ebony pyramid bridge and some expert French-polished refinishing) extremely stable, always staying in tune, with great action and vintage tone. It had a pro-neck reset. Huge projection and tremendous sustain from a small body. Small crack on the back pro-repaired. It's properly set up for light or custom light steel strings. It comes with a newer Martin case as well as the original canvas case. Quartersawn brazilian rosewood back and sides and adirondack (red) spruce top. X-forward-braced with scalloped adirondack braces, small original maple bridge plate, cedar neck, ebony fingerboard with original bar-frets, ebony pyramid bridge, original ivory nut. Original silver plated tuners with ivory buttons. French polished.
Light as a feather. This is a wonderful instrument. Astonishing craftsmanship, so lightly built, phenomenal projection. Although normally built for gut strings, mine still does great with light/custom light steels. It's very stable, always stays in tune, the top is flat (no cracks at all), and the neck very straight. It won't disappoint. It's a fingerpickers' delight. Frank Henry Martin personally signed this 0-21, in cursive, under the top: "# 10082 Oct. 17th, 1905 F.H.M." It needs absolutely nothing, but a good new home. My asking price is $4500.
