Description: Bass Clarinet - Selmer Bass Clarinet 1430P Great Condition

This Selmer 1430P low-Eb Bass Clarinet is a beautiful horn for the price. I bought it "used" just less than a year ago, and it looked like it had barely been touched.
I've owned it for just under a year, but have only really played it for the last 6 months or so. I used it on a few gigs, and on two recording sessions. I was very happy with the tone quality on those recordings, given that this is a beginner horn.
The instrument is in great shape. There is one felt missing on the low Eb key on the bell, but the cost to fix that is negligible.
Included are the case, the Bundy mouthpiece and cap that I assume originally came with the horn, a cleaning swab, and a neck strap.
This horn is great for a member of a school band, a beginner, a clarinetist who is first venturing into the world of bass clarinet or a saxophonist or woodwind doubler of any kind. The case is in good shape, with a few scratches from taking it on the NYC subway.
I would hold on to this horn, but because I live in NY and have to walk and take the subway everywhere, I am instead getting a similar model whose body is in two pieces so that I can carry around a slightly more compact case.
The instrument itself is very sturdy and can generate a great tone presence for a great price.
