This bass was professionally designed and built by the head luthier at VJ Custom Guitars.

The body is a 4 layer laminate, Bubinga, Purpleheart, Maple, Purpleheart, with a flame maple inlayed pickguard, and a matching Bubinga cavity cover. The neck is an bolt on, dual truss rod, asymmetrical 3 piece laminate of maple, Purpleheart, and maple, with a Wenge fingerboard, finished in oil, and a flame maple truss rod cover. Finished with high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Gold hardware, including Gotoh tuners, Badass V bridge, Schaller strap locks. Bartolini passive noiseless J-bass pickups, and controls set at Volume,Volume, Tone, with Gold dome knobs. Setup with a bone nut, and flatwound strings. This bass is a 35” scale, with a dual octave fingerboard.

Overall length of bass is 48 ¾. This makes it difficult to find a hardshell case. A case will not be included with this bass.

This bass is a tone machine, weighing in at 13 lbs. It has a similar sound to a warwick.
