This Bach Stradivarius model 50BG is a top of the line professional bass trombone, perfect for advancing bass trombonists and the preferred instrument of many top professional players. It's a large bore (.562") bass trombone with two in-line rotors for tuning. This bass trombone is suitable all types ensemble and solo playing. Valve sections are "open wrap" design for easy, open response. Valve Gb/D lever has an adjustable spatula facilitating a comfortable grip for any size hand. It has a goldbrass bell.
This is a great sounding horn with dark, warm sound. The slide was gone over by the best trombone technician in town and is as smooth as silk. Both of the valve levers work well. Musically and mechanically this horn is excellent. Judging from the serial number, it was made in 2004/5.
The bell has had a wrinkle removed and this type work always shows up in the lacquer. There is a small dent just before the valves (pictured) which is not worth repairing.
It comes with the original Bach hard case. The list price on Bach bass trombones is over $5000, the MAP price (the price you get from the discount houses) is well over $3500 which makes the price on this horn very attractive.
There is NO mouthpiece included and the trombone stand in the pictures is NOT included. More picgtures here dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/msg/1885544529.html
