Stenciled " Kohlert Winnenden" "Made in Germnay" on the bell and boot joint. Made from seasoned maple wood. All new pads, corks and springs are in very good condition too. Fully cleaned bores and tone holes. The silver plating key works has some worn but consists with the age. Dark mahogany finish is original and intact. String binded tenons. All jonts are air tight. No rust in bottom of boot joint (The "U").

Standard German (Heckel) key work system including whisper key, body lock, 4 rollers ( F-Ab, Db-Eb) .

This bassoon has very good intonation. Easy response from top to bottom. Outstanding performance at low range and also plays high D, E by standard fingering. Highly recommended to high school, college students.
