I purchased this bassoon (37164) new in 2003. I played this bassoon in high school, college, and professionally. I am selling because I am moving up to a Fox 601 and will no longer be playing this bassoon. It has been well maintained and serviced yearly by Fox Products Corp. repair technicians and plays better than the day I brought it home.

Features all standard Renard key work and rollers and has all upgrades including the professional u-tube and neck strap ring. Other additions include a balance hanger, a high A to whisper key bridge, and a separate plateau key in addition to the regular third finger ring key already installed.

Bassoon also comes with seat strap, crutch, original case and case cover, and #2 and #3 CVX double star bocals.

I am currently located in Wichita, KS. Feel free to contact with questions or if you are interested in a trial. I can arrange to meet within a reasonable distance from the Wichita Area, and can also arrange for a one week trial period. Anyone outside the Wichita area can arrange to have the instrument shipped to them for a one week trial period, but must cover the cost of the instrument and any shipping costs. I will hold the check for one week before requesting return of the instrument. If arrangements to return the instrument have not been made in one week, the check will be cashed, and the sale will be finalized.
