Description: Bassoon - Puchner -- Original #7125 one owner -- SOLD!
There are no pictures available for this bassoon
I ordered this instrument from Puchner in 1969 and played it consistently until 1983. As a professional, I played it for one season as principal bassoon with Jerusalem Symphony, and 3 1/2 seasons as principal with Montreal Symphony. It has a warm even tone, excellent intonation and speaks easily, all of which met my professional requirements, especially on the tours and recordings of the Montreal Symphony under Charles Dutoit. It is in excellent playing condition. The instrument can be heard on MSO recordings of Bolero, Alborada del Gracioso, and the complete 3-Cornered Hat, all available on iTunes.
Specifics: Price includes Jaeger case and 2 Puchner bocals. High D key, 13 rollers, rubber tone hole inserts, RH whisper lock, white plastic bell ring, silver plated keys.
