This bow has a round stick of quality pernambuco, mounted in silver with faintly visible fire brand `PECCATTE` on the finger side.
The frog and original silver nut are hand made.
It is not certain which Peccatte made this bow but its quality and condition are without doubt.
Performing-wise it is regular throughout its length and lends a rounded mellow tone to the ‘cello. Possibly best suited for ancient music.
