Width of upper bout: 350mm
Width of middle bout: 244mm
Width of lower bout: 437mm
Rib height: 120mm, 119mm
Hideo Kamimoto, San Jose, Ca., 2003"
Cello: Please note two repairs to the neck of the instrument. These occurred in the 1970's and were considered in the above appraisal.
Copy of appraisal and extra photos available by request. This cello has been lightly used; for only about 10 years of its 50 year lifetime. I am the second owner of this cello. It was purchased new by my uncle and he kept it for a few years before selling it to me, and while under his care he propped it up in the corner protected only by a cello bag, and he ignored it until it got knocked over. The repairs to the cello were completed in the 1970's, and they've held up perfectly since then.
Case and straight endpin included.
Motivated seller- out of work, will consider all serious offers.
