Double Bass Bow - R.A. Meinel Bass Bow for Sale

I am selling a French style double bass bow by the maker R.A. Meinel. The stick is octagonal, made from high quality pernambuco wood, with a silver mounted frog, and with leather wrapping. The bow is in terrific condition in all respects.

I bought this bow about two years ago from the Paul Biase Violin Shop in New York, and it is in very good condition. It was also rehaired approximately two weeks ago, so the hair has no wear at all.

This is a great bow for orchestral and solo playing. It responds quickly and draws with a nice, even sound.

I am willing to set up trials with this bow of one week. The price is very negotiable.
