This a 1950's John Juzek 7/8 size bass, recently appraised at 12k. It's truly built for a large individual, which is why I'm selling it. I love the sound of this instrument, it's a big sound for a big bass. I think it's a nice dark sound that works great for the orchestral playing I do, but I've had jazz guys tell me they love the sound also.
