This is a wonderful American Standard bass. Wonderful, that is, except for the fact that the bass bar has come detached in the center. For this reason, this instrument is drastically reduced to the asking price of $2500.00. The price is AS IS and is not negotiable.

For an $500.00 (five hundred dollars, US) David Gage String Instruments will glue the bar and will secure it with linen. This will be a temperary repair. The overhaul necessary to correct the problem permanently will cost approximately $2500.00 extra.

This authentic American Standard bass is strung with gut strings, has an iron-wood fingerboard, a working endpin and an adjustable bridge. Even with the bass-bar damage, this bass sounds HUGE.
