5-year old, hand carved, solid, 3/4-sized bass. GORGEOUS. Made entirely custom for me by The Bass Place in Chicago. Solid Rosewood fingerboard, adjustable endpin, adjustable bridge, Spirocore strings. TYK bag and Bow included. Beautiful, strong, full sound. Just had it "tuned up": sanded bridge and scratches, etc. Perfect for orchestra OR jazz. Last appraised at $8000 (in 2003).

Hate to give up this stunning instrument, but selling it cheap as I'm not playing as much, and need a lower-end instrument for festival travel. Want to sell by Winter 2005, go ahead and make an offer!
