Flamed back and neck. French tuners. Viol corners, extremely easy to play, and with accurate intonation. Powerful bottom. Leroy Geiger worked with Hornsteiner and wrote a book on the art of violin making. This bass bears the original label. It is a unique, one of a kind instrument. Has been used in the Carmel Bach Festival and many fine orchestras in the San Francisco area.
