DescriptionEngelhardt took over Kay in the 70's. This bass is in mint condition and was made in 1985. I had both a new ebony fingerboard and bridge with adjusters put on a few years ago. The neck was also reset in order to provide the proper tension. It's a very loud instrument that both plucks and bows well. It is also extremely solid (good for traveling). The bass has been used in every professional situation.
