This instrument was handmade here in Orwell, New York by me, the seller, from local hardwoods. It is a 12-course dulcimer with three strings per course, and three bridges(if this is confusing see picture). Overall size is approximately 33" x 13.5"x 4.5". Maple back, sides and bracing, birch-ply top, maple bridges with metal rod caps. It has a bright sound, and is pretty easy to tune. It has a range of over two octaves, and as tuned it has C#, F# and G# as well as all the naturals. It comes with two sets of mahogany hammers, one plain and one felt tipped for a softer sound, and some spare strings, just in case.
