Description: Electric Guitar - 1954 FENDER STRATOCASTER ORIGINAL *RARE*
There are no pictures available for this electric guitar
Up for bid is an original 1954 Fender Stratocaster guitar. I am selling this for my grandfather. He bought it in 1964 used at Fitchburg Music in Fitchburg, MA. It was originally white and had been painted black. The neck and metal plate were changed in 1965. The tuning pegs, volume control, selector switch, and pick guard were changed in the 80's. The original volume control and selector switch are included as well. The back plate is off, but is included as well as you will see in the pictures. Everything else is original. It comes with the little green book that proves it's age. Fender changed the instruction book every year. Also included is a brown case that is in bad shape. It was made around 1956. It also comes with the black Fender case shown in the pictures.
The guitar was recently examined and serviced by Reigel Instruments (I think that's spelled right) of Cambridge, Vt. They do custom made guitars and mandaligns for many people including many Nashville stars.
Seller is responsible for all shipping and packing costs and it will be professionally done, so it will be EXPENSIVE.
We must have the funds before we make pickup arrangements. Payment will be accepted by Bank Transfer ONLY. This is the only way we will be protected. Please view the pictures carefully as I tried to catch as much detail as I could.
