Description: Electric Guitar - Warmoth Fender Licensed Custom Stratocaster MINT/LIKE NEW
Here is a custom strat that I put together a couple of month ago with Warmoth neck & body.
*Warmoth Extra-light ash body
*Warmoth "pro" birdseye maple neck/fretboard
*Real abalone position markers
*22 Dunlop medium-jumbo frets
*Sparzel locking tuners
*Lace Sensor Light Blue(neck), Silver(mid), and Dually Silver-Red(bridge) pickups
*1 Master Vol, 1 Master Tone, coil select mini-switch for Dually pickup(silver-both-red)
*Step-Max tremolo bridge
Over all, the guitar is in near-mint/Like new condition, except that there are a light hairline scratch on the top from the construction and some normal pick scratches on the pickguard-they are so light and even barely visible. I take EXTRA care of my guitars, and there's no dings, belt rushes or whatsoever.
You know you can't go wrong with Warmoth. Very light weight and well balanced, can keep playing for hours and free from back pain. Thanks to the contoured heel it is so easy to reach the high positions. I had to adjust the cavity on the body a bit to fit the s-s-h pickup config and had to figure out the wiring by myself because Lace's schematic seemed to be wrong. The pickguard is custom ordered, and all the switches and pots are genuin Switchcraft. Thanks to the variation of the tonal possibilities, it is VERY versatile and can fit in any styles you can possibly think of.
The tremolo, Step Max, is a new invention in '07 and is GENIUS-it's technically a "sincronized" tremolo but can also go sharp (up to about 5th) like Floyd-rose, without all the hustles you would have to deal with when using FR. Thanks to the locking tuners and graphite nut that are recommended by the Step Max tech, it stays in tune and works great. It also has Graphtech's graphite saddles as default. Comes with steady original tremolo bar. For more info, google Step Max and go to their website.
This one is like my dream guitar, and I DO NOT want to sell it, I mean, really. My car has broken down recently, and I am SERIOUSLY in need of cash. I have a cheaper Fender strat, and my wife agreed to keep that one, sadly, not this one... I spent a little over $1700 for all the parts on it, and THIS IS A CHANCE FOR YOU, who I hope to be serious enough to keep playing this baby for a long time, to get a REAL guitar for only $1000. (Compare with Fender "standard" strat for the same price!!) It comes in nice Ritter gigbag($50 value). I also sell this guitar at other websites and locally, and this will sell quick!! I do consider any reasonable offers, so consider making some offers asap if you know you want it. US shipping is available at flat rate of $35 (insured +$5). I'm sorry, NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING/BUYERS. I prefer (ONLY USPS POSTAL) money order, but also take Paypal and checks(takes 2-3 days to clear).
