Description: Electric Guitar - NEAR MINT Epiphone JOE PASS EMPEROR II JAZZ GUITAR
This near - mint Joe Pass Emperor II was purchased in 1996 and has less than 50 hours playing time on it. (I bought it thinking I wanted to play jazz but shortly thereafter entered music school for classical guitar and I've had little time for jazz since!) I am the original owner and have kept the instrument in a well humidified, smoke free environment.
The guitar is structurally immaculate, perfect neck, frets in excellent condition, etc. However, there are two small cosmetic flaws I would like to mention to the interested buyer.
1) The brass plated hardware has tarnished a bit. I have been told this is quite common and hopefully you can see from the pictures that it is not a major issue. It may be possible to simply polish the brass, but I feel it was insignificant enough to let it be.
2) There is a small crescent shaped nick in the finish near one of the knobs (please see picture.) I assure the potential buyer that it is NOT a crack in the wood.
I am very meticulous about my instruments and have purchased online enough to appreciate candor in these dealings. I am absolutely confident that anyone interested in this model guitar will be very pleased!
P.S. Original hard-shell case is my gift to the buyer.
