Description: Electric Guitar - Vintage Global Two Pickup Guitar
This is a solid feeling, good playing, and good sounding guitar. Global was a Japanese import brand from the late 60's to the late 70's and was on par with Teisco and Kingston. The neck set is good and the action even over the entire fretboard. There is no evident fret wear. The finish is 7 out of 10 with little checking but those bumps and scrapes we always see in these guitars (pic #7). Probably comes from leaning them up in corners. The body is a bit thicker than the "Tulip" guitars and the neck profile is full. The scale length is 24 1/2". There is a resemblance to the Kingston brand guitars of that era. The guitar appears to be all original with the chrome plating in decent condition. The electronics have been cleaned and are quiet and functional. The tuning keys are functional and tight. The guitar ships in a new Planet Waves padded gig bag. Thanks for looking.........
