Description: Flute - Folkers & Powell Baroque Traverso after Schuchart
There are no pictures available for this flute
This Baroque traverso in D at A = 415 by Folkers & Powell after the London maker John Just Schuchart (fl. 1731-58) was purchased a year ago from the maker's inventory. Made in 1998 (serial no. 709), this Schuchart model with its unusually wide mounts reminiscent of earlier 3-joint traversi represents a unique, one-off prototype that was never introduced into the F&P production line. In a highly figured/flamed ebony/grenadilla with a single silver key.
Condition is near new. Asking $1000.
