IT IS PRACTICALLY NEW AND IN AMAZING CONDITION!!!!!!! The head is sterling silver. THIS FLUTE SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL!!! I took VERY GOOD care of it and I never play it anymore because I'm in college and art major. This flute has no dent or scratch. Comes with flute case, dust covers for the open holes, cleaning rod and a flute carrier bag (to cover the case). If you would like to know more about this flute, please let me know. Thank you! -Kim
