Description: French Horn - Hans Hoyer Full Double Custom Geyer Wrap 1969
Full Double Horn with stopping valve, modified Geyer wrap Gold(german) brass with silver plate. Hand hammered bell with small garland.
All hand made instrument. Update," I Took the horn out the other day, i forgot what a nice instrument this is!Looks much better that the photo shows. There are no dents, a few small dings around the horn, but nothing even minor. Plays very even and with fast response and a beautiful sound". Over all, good condition. A very wonderful old Horn. I Recieved this horn in a trade and I was pleased to find that Hoyer Horns are fine instruments. The Bell, First branch and leadpipe have very well excecuted tapers and there is great workmanship in the Valves. This Horn has a open feel (modified Geyer wrap),a excellent mid./low range and ALL high notes "locking in" with normal fingerings. The Bell is a medium-large taper, which will help keep a focused sound, and most hands fit well. I am very motivated to sell. Please make an offer. Also included is a cool Marcus Bonna Fixed bell case in very good condition. Geyer workshop two piece mouthpiece in raw polishied brass."
