Built in the style of the Italian harpsichord of the 16th century,
this instrument is extremely light, weighing only 14 kg.

Strung as a single 8� in hand drawn brass and scaled to a 16th century virginals pattern
this harpsichord produces a fine clear Italianate sound tuned to either a=415 or a=440.

A full size plan and an instruction manual with over 30 color photographs
takes the builder �step by step� through the construction.

Only the highest quality materials are used :
Fine European spruce for the soundboard, wooden jacks, keyplates in maple, sharps fruitwood. Maple (solid wood) for the case sides, finely cut mouldings, solid wood for the bottom for the purpose of high stability.
Complete in every detail.

A turned stand is available at additional costs.
