Franco-Flemish double by William Post Ross, opus 26, 1968. 8', 8', 4', buff; FF - g''', 63 notes, transposing 415 / 440. English style veneer, flamed crotch mahogany panels; fancy brass hinges; includes spare strings, padded cover. Rebuilt by Willard Martin in 1985; now has Martin jacks; restrung and requilled in Celcon by Kevin Spindler in 2000; solid spruce soundboard in perfect condition; reliable instrument with very stable tuning, kept in a climate controlled environment; formerly owned by Frances Bedford, author of "Twentieth-Century Harpsichord Music". It has a very powerful voice that carries well. Shipping crate available. A new harpsichord with this type of veneer work would cost upwards of $35,000 USD. I would be happy to answer any further questions.
