This beautiful guitar is based on the famous Quito “vihuela”. The back, sides and pegs are made out of a piece of “jacarandá” (also called Rio Palisander or Brazilian rosewood) from a centuries old cabinet. The instrument has a very clear, loud and yet refined sound ideal for the spanish and italian repertoire as well as for continuo accompaniment.
