Description: Organ - Technics SX-A1 Show Organ
This organ is the cream of the crop. It was built in the mid 1980's and has all the bells and whistles. The organ was made for a local performing artist at the cost of $65,000. I aquired it about 10 years ago. The organ is a console with full pedal board and two 65 note keyboards. The finish on the organ is a white ebony with chrome accents. It has 7 registration memories and disk drive for recording music and registrations. On the upper keyboard you can have everything from your full flutes for all the church sounds to solo presets like Trumpet, Oboe, Whistle, and many others. On the lower you can have any of the same presets as the upper manual. All of the preset sounds on this organ sound very life-like and rich. In the 1980's technics advertised that they took actual recordings from various instruments and digitally put them into the organ making them very true to the instruments that they are to imitate. This organ is a true classic and needs a good home as I can not give it one anymore with also having a Yamaha FX-20. The organ comes in six pieces and is easily manueverable. Included are the organ, pedals, bench and two 900 watt leslie speakers. There is a small problem with the speakers in that the tweeters are blown in both.
