Description: Piano - Rare Collector Piano! 9' Baldwin Grand signed by Liberace, Ferrante & Teiche
There are no pictures available for this piano
This 9' Baldwin SD10 ebony concert grand piano was a touring piano for several years in the 1980's and has been signed by Liberace, Ferrante & Teicher and Dino. It is in very good condition - it has suffered a few dents and dings because it was a touring piano for artists - but that is part of its rich heritage! According to Robert T. Furst, Author, Bluebook of Pianos, "When this instrument is tuned for maximum performance the value is $58,900.00. Figure is based on standard industry indicators; the age, condition, size, grade and rarity of this instrument. The Baldwin SD 10 Grand provides the distinctive tone, touch and presence required by the most discriminating pianists. This is the amount an insurance company would pay in case of loss. This is the value as an ordinary musical instrument, it does not include additional value for signatures or Historical Purposes. The SD10 concert grand is Baldwin's flagship instrument. It is preferred by many of the world's finest pianists, performance organizations, conductors, composers and vocalists for concert, film, recording and broadcast use. During the period that this instrument was in use, the Baldwin Company had a practice of providing these instruments to all artists who endorsed the Baldwin Piano. This in itself is enough to validate the historical signatures. This instrument is Museum Quality, that is a value that cannot be determined by a simple appraisal. The value is priceless, and would have to be determined at auction. For insurance purposes $250,000 should be a minimum."
I'm willing to negotiate and will accept a reasonable offer.
