Piccolo - Rare Gebrüder Mönnig professional wood piccolo

I have loved this piccolo for a long time, but haven't been able to use it for several years, so it's time to sell. I want it to be used, because it is a beautiful instrument!

Details:

-Gebrüder Mönnig piccolo, manufactured in Germany
-Grenadilla headjoint and body
-Headjoint has beveled embouchure to direct air flow
-Deep and rich lower octave, clear middle and upper octaves
-Split E mechanism
-Comes with hard case, soft outer case, carrying strap, and cleaning rod, as well as original seal of manufacture

I purchased this piccolo in 2001 for $1300. I know that one pad needs to be reglued (the E), otherwise this piccolo is in excellent condition, so I am asking for $1000.

It's possible that this instrument is collectible and antique. Getting in touch with the factory is difficult, but I am willing to share the information I have learned with potential buyers.
