Tone holes are checked to make sure they are level and in round. All keys are fitted to their respective rods and pivot screws to insure a smooth, close fit with no loose "play" in the mechanism.
The corks and pads that I use are premium grade. After the instrument is assembled, all seating of the pads and regulation is done to the highest standards. For this price, the instrument must be complete. Any missing parts that are currently available will be an additional cost. Sometimes, I have parts that fit in stock, or can make the part.
