Description: Saxophone - Conn 10M 1952 Tenor Sax Ready to play
This is a 1952 Conn 10M. I got it 7 years ago from a friend and had it overhauled, and have kept it at peak shape ever since. Lacquer is at about 70 percent with wear in patches, mostly around the engraving (wear you would imagine a player putting the sax on their lap). Pads, corks and everything are top shape or new. I just had all springs replaced with blue steel, so the action is right on. There is one minor point of solder on the inner bow, which does not affect sound or structural integrity (or value, so says my technitian) I love this horn, but need to fund another. It has straight tone holes, and metal resonators. No dents or dings. This is an excellent horn!
