Musical Instrument Description: Saxophone for sale - TENOR SAXOPHONE OVERHAUL - COMPLETE RESTORATION

There are no pictures available for this saxophone

I did the repair work, and / or restoration work on all 4 saxophones in the quartet that won the grand prize at the 2009 Coleman International Chamber Ensemble Competition, held this year on April 25 in Pasadena at its home institution, the California Institute of Technology. It was the first saxophone quartet ever to win the top award in the 63-year history of the celebrated contest.

TENOR SAXOPHONE OVERHAUL

COMPLETE RESTORATION

BRIGHT LACQUERED BRASS $895

SATIN SAND BRASS WITH BRIGHT HIGHLIGHTS $895

YOUR INSTRUMENT WILL LOOK AND PLAY LIKE NEW

BRIGHT OR SATIN SAND SILVERPLATE - $1095-if you need a completely new resilverplating; $895 if silverplating is still intact, and you just need cleaning and polishing.
This is an offer to completely overhaul (restore) your TENOR SAXOPHONE (ANY BRAND). The overhaul includes the following:
I chemically clean the instrument - inside and out. This removes all the old build-up inside. I remove all the dents. I gently buff the entire instrument for the highest "luster" while maintaining the acoustical and structural quality of the metal. I use only the highest quality, instrument grade lacquer in the refinishing process to retain and protect the highly polished metal. Tone holes are checked to make sure they are level and in round. All keys are fitted to their respective rods and pivot screws to insure a smooth, close fit with no loose "play" in the mechanism. After the final polishing, which brings out the lustre of the metal, the instrument is lacquered with the highest quality, instrument grade lacquer available. The corks and pads that I use are premium grade. After the instrument is assembled, all seating of the pads and regulation is done to the highest standards. I have a master of music degree, and 33 years experience repairing instruments. I know what the serious player expects from his instrument's performance. I take great pride in my work, and enjoy giving someone a beautiful instrument that looks great, and plays great. I take just as much care refinishing a student instrument as I do a professional instrument. I repair and restore instruments for many professionals and students, including faculty and students at 2 local universities. For this price, the instrument must be complete. Any missing parts that are currently available parts will be an additional cost. Sometimes, I have parts that fit in stock, or can make the part. No severely flattened or crushed instruments will be accepted. If you are not sure, call me, or email a picture. I can take large and small dents out so that you won't know where it was.
The return shipping and insurance will be $40 for the continental United States.
Thank you, David Williams
