Description: Trumpet - Egger Baroque Trumpet
This is an Egger baroque trumpet with the German three-hole fingering system. It comes with crooks and leadpipes to tune to Db and Cb. Tuning to additional keys is possible, simply purchase crook and leadpipe combinations from the manufacture or from the Baroque Trumpet Shop.
The bell was made 1997 (the number inprinted is 9717) and the body was made in June 1999. The bow was made in 1995. Each crook has 5 holes of which 2 are covered by
screws, so only three holes function at a time.
This trumpet plays beautifully, and is commonly used by many in the early music field.
The instrument comes with an Egger mouthpiece of your choice: S9, (silver) SI7, (silver) S7, (raw brass) or SI6, (silver). Additional mouthpieces are $70 each with instrument purchase.
