Description: Trumpet - Bach 37ML Early Elkhart
This trumpet is in the key of Bb and was made by Vincent Bach. Model 37, ML bore, in silverplate. The 67,130 Serial Number makes this trumpet an "early Elkhart" model, made somewhere between 1970 and 1974 after Bach relocated his Mt. Vernon factory to Indiana.
The instrument has a Patented valve alignment by Bob Reeves.
This instrument is spectacular in terms of sound as well as playability. Intonation is excellent.
There is some wear through the silver at contact points. Marks show on the first valve casing where a trigger was removed and replaced with a thumb saddle, (Bach parts were used and work was done by Ken Larson of Brasswerks). Very small dings in the bell, but nothing serious.
This instruments looks beautiful and is in excellent playing condition. Do not miss this chance to own a fine playing, vintage instrument!
