Description: Trumpet - French Besson Marvin Stamm
This is one of those wonderful Marvin Stamm influenced designs. .462 bore, A bell French Besson, Ser. # 5254. I played this horn professionally for many years, in all situations (solo recital, jazz, pit, big band, chamber). My playing has changed, and I've gone back to playing a Schilke B1.
It has a single and Bach-style radius tuning slide, plus heavy valve caps and regular valve caps. Some slight wear on the lacquer on the 1st valve and 3rd valve bottom cap, as well as 1st & 2nd valve caps.
No case. No mouthpiece.
I've taken excellent care of this horn, and hate to part with it. I can only keep so many instruments around, though! :-)
