Description: Tuba - Kalison Daryl Smith 5 valve CC
Hello all I have a really fine playing Kalison Daryl Smith truly great. It's a 4 piston fifth rotor silver plated C. It's perfect for those college students who want a C tuba entering college and wanting to learn c fingerings in their arsenal. This tuba has served me well and can easily be played in a solo recital, quintet setting and can even be played in a large wind symphony or Orchestra. This horn would be best classified as an all-around horn. It has a fat sound and great tone color. I personally chosed this horn basically for what it had to offer. I find that this tuba is very comparable to a Hirsbrunner hb21 or miraphone 1291. When I was looking for a horn a little over a year ago I tried a couple of miraphone 1291s before making my decision to purchase this horn because of the even tone through the entire range and the easier response, manageable intonation and the sound that I was able to get out of it. Personally this is a great deal that someone should take advantage of. I'm only selling it because I need the money right now and for a handmade Italian tuba the price is a steal. I'm including with the horn a MTS case which is about $600 by itself, a gigbag which is another $200 and a GW Bayamo lite with Euro Shank. Thanks for looking and email if your interested.
