The back is made from very old one piece maple. The medium spaced flame has a rippling effect when moved in the light. The belly is two piece Swiss pine with a close grain.
Light golden brown oil varnish with a good transparency.
Professional instrument, excellent tone quality and projection with clear instant playback.
Even balance, good harmonics.
This viola was displayed at ‘The XXIXth International Viola Congress’ which was held in Wellington, New Zealand, between 8th and 12th April 2001.
