Viola for sale - Karl Hofner Bubenreuth 1959 German Viola 15.5 Inch

I am selling a Karl Hofner viola. It was made in Bubenreuth, West Germany in 1959. It is a 15.5" viola, that just got a professional setup and fresh Red Label strings. I am considering putting it on consignment, so save some money and get it at a super discount. The shop estimated the value at $1300. It sounded beautiful when the shop's viola instructor played it. I play guitar, not Viola, so I am looking to turn it around quickly to get an hollow body, archtop, jazz guitar. I am open to offers and full or partial trades. It will come with an old Lifton hard shell case (with key), rosin and an old bow. The bow is missing half the hair and has a slight twist to it. The shop said the bow is borderline not worth restringing. I would assume that you already have a nice bow, if you are looking for an instrument of this caliber. If you don't have one, I can meet you at a shop that does, so you can try it out.
