Guarneri Cannon 1743 (Originally known as 1742) New InstrumentThe back of this violin is made from very old one piece maple with a narrow close flame.
The belly is two piece Swiss pine.
The oil varnish is a rich rust brown with warm deep under tones and a superb transparency.
Excellent power, response and projection. Bright tone with a clear sound.
