Despite the date on the label, this Manzanero is a new one. Since her birth in 2005, she has only been used as a try out in Felix his workshop. Although we visited Manzanero this time to agree on the specifications of our outstanding orders, we just took her with us, simply because this Manzanero blanca is so good. We can only hope our next one will be equally as good. The 32 year old German spruce top is outstanding, and the cypress is superb. This blanca is a real concert instrument having a noble rich, balanced tone, profound basses and incisive trebles. This blanca really shows that Felix his reputation is clearly justified.

The Spanish luthier Felix Manzanero is widely considered among the finest flamenco guitar makers in Spain. His guitars have won such prestigious prizes like 1st place en el Concurso Internacional de Maestros Guitarreros in Tarbes, France in 1989 (click on the picture below). Felix possesses an extraordinary large stock of woods having aged over 30 years.
