Acoustic Guitar for sale - FRANKLIN OM, Serial #358, dated Jan. 23, 1983

Franklin OM, Serial #358, dated Jan 23, 1983.
Brazilian rosewood, 1-7/8" nut. Good condition but shows the normal wear of 24 years of playing - a few scratches, dings and finish checking, including a very obvious spot on the top where a Shub capo was dropped on it.

This guitar comes with provenance. It was built as a special order for John Renbourne but when the top was slightly damaged (on what is now the underside), Nick Kuklich made another guitar for him. At the time, Chris Proctor was endorsing Franklin and he received this guitar (it was he who dropped the capo). Just weeks after receiving this guitar he finalized an endorsement deal with Taylor Guitars. I acquired this from him in the spring/summer of 1983 and have owned it since. As a performer it got used a lot until I retired from the stage. Now it needs a good home and a good player.
