Acoustic Guitar - Pablo Quintana Classical guitar year 2000 Legendary CUban Luthier

Pablo Quintana is the most important Cuban Luthier in history. If you reached this auction you certainly know that Cuba has produced some of the better talents in the world of the classical guitar such as Manuel Barrueco, Leo Brouwer, Marco Tamayo and Joaquin Clerch just to name a few. I recently spoke to Pablo Quintana to order another of his guitars and he told me that he just sent to Manuel Barrueco one of his fine instruments, and that he was very pleased with the new guitar.

This particular Quintana is in fair condition, plays very well and has enough projection to fill a mid sized auditorium without any amplification. I have played many concerts with this guitar including chamber music with flute, voice, piano and string instruments without requiring any amplification. I have traveled a lot with this instrument and it has been my main guitar for several years. There are several scratches and dings, also a hair crack on the upper part of the soundboard close to the fingerboard, this crack is very stable and doesn't affect the sound at all. There is also some finish wear on one of the sides, the one that makes contact with the left leg. There is also some minor glue separation on the sides and back. All this issues don't affect the sound and are mostly cosmetic, those are completely fixable in the hands of a competent luthier.

A new guitar from this fine luthier would be around $4000.oo dollars new, due to the cosmetics I am offering this guitar at an incredibly inferior price. I am completely sure that this guitar is a good oportunity for those who want a good concert guitar with solid woods for the money that won't even be enough to get a Studio guitar nowadays. I will ship this guitar with a very protective TKL case.
