LOOKS AND SOUNDS SENSATIONAL!

CURVED SOPRANOS HAVE A MUCH RICHER AND MELLOWER TONE THAN STRAIGHT SOPRANOS BECAUSE THE SOUND GOES THROUGH THE BEND AND THEN DIRECTLY TO THE EAR. SOUND FROM STRAIGHT SOPRANOS IS FLATTER BECAUSE IT IS ALTERED WHEN IT HAS TO BOUNCE OFF THE FLOOR BEFORE IT REACHES THE EAR

I have been playing the sax professionally for 35 years. The last gig that I played was for former President Clinton at a fund raiser for Senator Kennedy in Boston with the John Payne Saxophone Choir. I have been repairing saxophones for almost 23 years. When I played this sax, I could not put it down. I like it better than any Selmer that I have ever played, including the Mark VI. It has a huge sound, a more even timbre, the altissimo and subtones are very easy to sound, and yet the tone is warm and full bodied. It is a combination between the projection and brilliance of a Mark VI sound and the fullness and body of a King Super 20 with the smooth action of the Super Action 80.

Many people ask me, "Why is the price so low?" "How can it be such good quality with such a low price?" Even other people in the music business tell me to raise the price so people will not think it is poor quality. The reason the price is so low is because I arranged with the factory 10 years ago to buy five hundred instruments at a time and pay cash for them. The factory gives me a low price and I pass that savings on to my customers. The factory also granted me an exclusive for the entire east coast. Although I ship all over the U.S.A., the factory approached me in the early years and asked how I felt about them doing national advertising. They would increase my cost $100.00 per instrument to cover that expense. I told them not to do it because the quality stands on its own merit. They do not maintain a website either and that is another reason that costs are lower.

Comes with one year factory warranty.

Monique is engaged in one ongoing pursuit - perfecting the saxophone. By focusing its attention on each individual part and on the distinctive systems of each instrument, it strives to expand the instrument's tonal range, perfect its intonation and refine its ergonomics. Improvements come from melding cutting-edge technology and old-fashioned craftsmanship, while integrating the player's participation as a vital link in the design process. Designed by French technicians. Made in Taiwan.

I am a factory-authorized dealer and repairman.

All instruments are shop-tested and adjusted to play perfectly before shipment.
