This is a fine old 4/4 Violin. The back is two piece made of high quality tight grained highly flamed European Maple otherwise knows as curly maple or flamed maple. This violin has dark, rich and powerful tones.

While each note very clear, it has a very strong projection! It is very loud while still maintaining it's beautiful tone.
