The back is made from very old two piece European maple with a broad wide flame.
The belly is two piece fine to medium grained Swiss pine.
Deep rich red/brown oil varnish with superb transparency and depth, reflecting a pyramid effect with undertones.
The chin rest is hand made from maple with a medium contrasting stain.
A very powerful instrument with superb projection.
A quick instant clear response with a deep resonant tone and a bright powerful ‘E’ string.
Plays upper positions with ease.
